LCCC and Your Privacy
In today's world of computers and databases, the protection of personal
information we share with others is very important. The information you
provide the LCCC helps us in our service to our Club members.
We do not share any membership information -
We do not sell or provide any of your personal information to anyone else
- PERIOD!
Email Address -
We ask for your email address because as an Internet information-sharing
Corvette Club we will need to periodically communicate directly with
you.
LCCC is opposed to spam and will only use your email address for urgent
or emergency notifications, changes
in
plans,
caravan
specific
details, or special messages.
All announcements
related
to LCCC activities are found in the Member
Area. So to keep up to date on what's happening with the LCCC, be sure
to bookmark the Member Area as one of your favorite Web sites.
Phone Number -
We ask for your phone number in case we need to get in touch with you
about a Club related issue. While the Club officers may spend a lot of
time on the phone talking to each other about Club issues and related
business, we respect your time and privacy and promise to call you only
if we need to speak with you on a Club issue, or if you request to be
called.
Birthday -
We ask for your birthday to assure our members declare they are at least
21 years old. By joining the LCCC the individual requesting membership
is engaging in a funding transfer and therefore must be recognized as
having reached legal age. In addition, as we travel around the the United
States and Canada, after our day's travel we will occasionally be gathering
at establishments that serve alcoholic beverages. While the laws of the
various States, Provinces and localities vary as to the age required to
be served alcoholic beverages, in those areas where the service of alcoholic
beverages are allowed, 21 years of age is recognized as having reached
legal age.
